Telling our stories

We will all have arrived to the Ostara community via different paths. Perhaps some of us have physically moved from other parts of the country or beyond and the need to connect has led to here. Others will have had a change in their life which has left them feeling a little adrift and needing grounding by a female community. Possible curiosity has been enough of a motivator to join in - though you may consider yourself a listener only.

Listening is important nonetheless.

Stories are how we lay down our memories; we store our thoughts and feelings within their narratives. Some stories are for sharing and allow learning both in the telling and the hearing. Others are too private, too raw. In time this might change, but until then listening with interest, openness, and respect to the stories of others is how our community will grow and strengthen as a whole and for the individuals within it. Let us support each other and learn from each other.
